Main & Mill is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain vacant apartments, amenities, offices, hallways, elevators and stairwells. The housekeeper will also assist other employees to maintain the property and areas in an efficient manner.

The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.  

The purpose of this job description is to communicate the responsibilities and duties associated with the position of Housekeeper. JOB BRIEF: The primary responsibilities of the Housekeeper involve the upkeep of each apartment in order to enhance and maintain its appeal. The Housekeeper will also assist the rest of the employees, as directed, in their efforts to manage the property in an efficient manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
TRAINING
• Complete all Grace Hill courses by the required deadlines. Commissions and bonuses will not be paid for anyone with past due Grace Hill courses.
GENERAL
• Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws; e.g., OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc.
• Clean the office, clubroom, restrooms, and other common areas on a daily basis, prior to 9:00 a.m.
• Clean and maintain models and/or target units on a daily basis.
• Clean all vacant apartments as directed by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Keep all vacancies fresh and odorless.
• Perform additional duties requested by the Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Inform management of supply needs on a weekly basis.
Clean –  Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property.  Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, glasses, pots and pans. Wipe and dust surfaces in vacant units and clean mirrors.  Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes. Maintain clean supply of towels in the fitness center.  
Stock – Stock vacant units with drinks and snacks. Stock fitness center water and drinks in refrigerator. Stock all hand towels, soap dispensers in the club rooms and toilet tissue in restrooms.
Other – Pick up and empty trash containers. If applicable, notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.  

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
